Same results... no connections are made :-( Jack changed a lot from 0.103 to 0.109, but not in any way that does affect the port connection API. So this remains somewhat strange. A as temporary hack I'm now using system("jack_connect (...)") in instrument 1, but I'd like to get rid of this ASAP !
