I did some closer inspection. The csd does not look fishy in that it
should not crash csound when saving snapshots to file.
Tested with Csound 5.06 and it works, tested with 5.07 and it crashes.
That might give you a time slot for finding changes in CVS (?)

On the other hand, the csd does not contain any code to actually store
anything in the preset slots (0 to 20), as all code in instr 2 is
commented out.
This could probably be implemented in a number of ways, my approach
has been to use a slot selector (the FLbutBank in your case) that does
not trigger an instrument event, it just sets the slot number. Then
use a separate button for "store" and "recall" (note the admittedly
problematic subtle difference between store/write and recall/read,
where the first points to a single preset slot in RAM and the second
points to writing/reading a file containing all presets to disk.
