another Csound involved tune:

Csound was used for the riser, the pitch corrected voice layer and a lot of 
sidechain compression. Sidechaining the two bass sounds to the kick. The most 
fun I had with the chord sequence in the verses.

I tracked the sequence from a monophonic analogue synth, each voice six times. 
then performed some very basic processing in my DAW and rendered it as a 
stereo track. In Csound I added reverb (reverbsc) and delay and used compress 
again to sidechain the effects to the sequence itself. Add a little more 
stereo width automation, using pan2, and you get a really nice result.

Additional soft- and hardware instruments: Yoshimi for pluck and the pad, 
LinuxSampler to load the chord sequence, riser and vocal samples, Waldorf 
Microwave Xt for the main bass, Behringer Neutron for the sub bass, MiniBrute 
for the chord sequence raw material, Behringer RD-8 for 808 drums and Roland 
JV-1080 for the rest of the drums. This is also a celebration of my new 
microphone, which was an enormous help and improvement, there's still room for 
further improvement. :)
