Hi all, I just published my first Csound instrument for the Qu-Bit Nebulae module. It's a wavetable oscillator that implements the Risset harmonic arpeggio, with a few other features, including a cross-panning wave animation/tremolo effect that I have never seen implemented in a module before. Thanks for Jeanette for suggesting morphable wavetables! I was pleased to find that the Nebulae (which is, under the covers, a Raspberry Pi 3) is able to gracefully handle nine instances of poscil3 with fairly large tables, as well as a couple of LFOs. Code and details here (the .instr file is really just a Csound .orc and can be viewed as such in VSCode etc.). On Patchstorage: https://patchstorage.com/risset-harmonic-oscillator/ This would be pretty easy to repackage as a Cabbage or CsoundQT instrument, I think.. Comments welcome! Best, Dave |

If anyone downloaded this yesterday, please get a fresh download -- there was a bug that caused the module to get into a bootloop. Version 1.1 fixes this, and is up on both Patchstorage and Github (links previously given). - Dave On Sat, Jun 20, 2020 at 3:05 PM Dr. Richard Boulanger <rboulanger@berklee.edu> wrote:
