Hi!

Thanks for rising the interest! Lower latency is definitely something that draws attention.

By the way, have you ever tried to build CsoundQt on Haiku? The source has configuration file for Haiku but I have never touched it nor tried, I assume it worked once but it can easily be outdated...

In case there is possibly any interest, I'd like to announce
that the Haiku package version of the 6.14 release is now
downloadable from http://goodeveca.net/Csound/

I'd love it if others got interested in Haiku.  i find it more
congenial than any other OS I've used.  (I don't use Mac
-- too expensive -- or Windows -- too horrible...)  I have
a dual-boot laptop with Linux (Mint) and Haiku, and I spend
90% of my time in the latter.  Especially when I want to play
keyboard live.  The latency in Linux is unbearable, while it's
undetectable in Haiku.  It isn't a perfect OS; its browsers are
all limited in one way or another -- Firefox in Linux is one of my
main reasons for switching.  But it has most of the essentials.

Cheers,
