Back in October of last year, there was a discussion of using fout to automatically write output to a file with the date and time, as shown in dates.csd. (John’s example)

Tarmo also mentioned that in CsoundQt, the record button creates a file whose index is automatically incremented.

On the Mac, the record button in CsoundQt appears to create only .wav files. I’d prefer .aif, and I can’t figure out if CsoundQt can be made to auto save/increment .aif instead of .wav. I haven’t figured out the right combination of CsOptions and overrides in CsoundQt.
