[Csnd] Brew CsoundQt? Brew risset?

Subject[Csnd] Brew CsoundQt? Brew risset?
Over the past year, I have been having great success with collaborating with John ffitch and keeping up with the latest bug fixes and additions to Csound (such as Dave Seidel's new LFSR opcode!) because I have been able to use Homebrew to brew the latest developer version of Csound and install it in the 'cellar'

brew install --HEAD csound
brew reinstall csound

The great thing is that this developer version runs from the Terminal while at the same time the August 10 - Csound6.15 runs (without conflict) from the awesome CsoundQt IDE.  And, even better, when you choose 'Run in Terminal' button in CsoundQt 1.0 beta - it runs the .csd from the latest developer build.

My questions (and hopes) are:
1. Is there any chance that one can use Brew to build and install the latest CsoundQt?
2. Is there any chance that one can use Brew to build and install the latest risset?

I personally am not able to put time into that - and I am sorry that I have had no  chance to do any work for CsoundQt last monthes.
If there is someone who can contribute to prepare the brew system (I have no idea how it actually works) it would be very welcome, of course!

One idea of CsoundQt and the Qt platform is that it is cross platform. If Qt is set up in the machine, and you have cloned CsoundQt git repo,  builindg is not that complicated. You just need to do in the root folder of sources:

qmake qcs.pro
make
[and make install, if you want to make a MacOs bundle]

But I agree, setting the build system up takes some work and different problems may arise. So I understand that the brew install would be very comfortable for Mac users.

Best!

Thanks Tarmo (and Eduardo) for all the work you do on Csound and the CsoundQt IDE.

I was using it on the Raspberry Pi 4 last night!  It is an essential tool to so many.

This week, I will try building from sources as you suggest below and online.  I will let you know how it goes.

Take care,

-dB
