I've release a new version of Blue at: v2.9.0 removes the use of JavaFX from the system and also embeds Java runtimes on macOS and Windows so that the program should only require a working installation of Csound to run out-of-the-box. There are a number of other bugs and small features listed in the ChangeLog. I will be working on smaller features and bug fixes in 2.9.x while working on larger system and feature changes moving forward in 2.10.x. Thanks and enjoy! Steven |

Hi Forrest, I think now that I've moved over to using a system called FlatLAF, it should be easier to support other themes, but there's a fair amount of hardcoded colors. (e.g., user sets a color for an object on the timeline might work great with one theme but not another). The code editors though are already customizable for colors using the preferences system. For the short term, it's a bit onerous but I could point you to the theme file if you want to try a different set of theme colors in a custom build. Longer term, I'd need to schedule a bit of time to go through the application and work through theming and theme switching. If interested, please file and issue on the Blue issue tracker and we can work from there to figure out priority and scheduling for a milestone. Thanks!
