I am trying to replicate a DX7 rate envelope.  I have read the Pinkerton chapter in the Csound Book but after using his orchestras..they aren't really close.

My assumption is that the slope can be used to create some function for the  a linseg rate param.

Above are casual observations from a DX7.   Can anyone identify any mathematical pattern above for slope and duration seconds?
