Wicked! I'd love to meet up with more csounders here. Glyn and I are playing
Sept 25 at the Waldorf, it's a post burning man party put on by parallels. (
www.parallels.ca ) Last years was very cool. Cover is 12 of our weak canadian
dollars, and we're on in the downtempo room from 11-12:30. It's not really a
downtempo room thought, read slower house and breaks. ; )
We'll be doing live stuff from 11:30-12:30 I expect, and the reason I haven't
been making much noise on here lately is because I have a LOT to do to get
ready. At any rate I will post the gigantic monosynth I made to use as soon as
it passes the bug free test, and I plan on posting the entire source for the set
on line. We are using 100% open source for this show, so a Burning Man party is
a very nice way to kick off the act. ( Gnu/linux, python, csound, heavily python
hacked gvim )

You should meet my friend Terry O'brian here in town. Old school music dude who
has been around the block more than a few times and now does really nice ambient
stuff. There is also a vancouver mailing list with a couple of csounders and a
bunch of non-csound local electronic music makers that is worth subscibing to,
at least to the announce list. Info is at www.blackholeclub.com
I know abez is in Victoria, and other BC csounders on here? Might be fun after
the show is over to have a users group meeting and demo how we did our set.
