I tried other noise types, like Guasian, but could not get the desired results (maybe I'm doing this wrong).

I could then use Cool edit to generate noise, find the segment I want and break down the partials, and translate them into Csound. I used to have a program that broke the waveform down, but don't know where to download anything like this. I guess I could load samples.

What do you mean with "periodic"?

If you want to generate a noise sound that repeats itself with a
fixed period, you could use a delay line to record the first period
of noise (generated with an opcode of your choice) and then just read
it from the delay lines for the other periods. I used this to write
a "scratched vinyl" instrument with short noise bursts and pops that
repeated itself with a period of 1/45 minutes.
