Subject[Csnd-dev] VST features are now enabled in the AppVeyor build
After conducting some research, I have concluded that it is legal for
us to host binaries including CsoundVST and the vst4cs opcodes, as
long as (a) we do not redistribute VST SDK source code, and (b) we
modify our LGPL v2.1 license for CsoundVST and the vst4cs opcodes with
an exception permitting the use of VST SDK code in the project. This
in turn requires securing the permission of Hermann Seib, the original
author of the VSTHost code on which the vst4cs opcodes are based, for
this exception.

I have secured Hermann Seib's permission. We also need Andres
Cabrera's permission, but I assume that will be forthcoming.
Accordingly, I have pushed the changed license text and some other
changes to GitHub.

I will now change the AppVeyor build to create, by default, a Windows
installer containing CsoundVST and the vst4cs opcodes.

For those interested, I also have pushed documentation of my research
in the form of licensing_considerations_for_csoundvst_and_vst4cs.md.

Regards,
Mike
